Father Has Two Cars Stolen at the Same Time While He's Moving a Car Seat

A cold-blooded robbery on a cold morning north of Forest Park

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOX) — St. Louis Metropolitan Police say a father had both of his vehicles carjacked north of Forest Park late Sunday night.

It happened on Waterman Boulevard east of Clara Avenue in the Debaliviere Place neighborhood just before 11 p.m. Sunday.

Police say the victim was moving a car seat from one vehicle to another two suspects walked up to him and demanded the keys to a Chevy Malibu he owned. The victim complied, but as he handed over the keys, police say a third suspect showed up and demanded the keys to his Nissan Altima as well.

The victim, who wasn't hurt, went to his home and contacted police. A short time later, the Malibu was recoered in the 5600 block of Hiller Place in North City near the city limits of Jennings.

Police released the following suspect descriptions:

  • Suspect #1: Unknown Black Male, 5'6" to 5'8", thin build, light complexion, twisty-hair style, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
  • Suspect #2: Unknown Black Male, 5'8" to 5'10", heavy build, dark complexion, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants
  • Suspect #3: Unknown Subject wearing dark clothing

The investigation is ongoing.
