Scott Faughn Defends Himself Online, No Mention of $50,000 Transfer

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Missouri Times publisher Scott Faughn didn't explain where the $50,000 came from that he sent to attorney Al Watkins in a Periscope live video. But he did say he'd retained Watkins in the past. He also said he's ready to be the governor's next attack target.

“I think at this point, Greitens’ lawyers lying about you is probably a good thing,” he says.

Instead of addressing the many still outstanding questions, Faughn in his video instead explained that he'd known about the governor's affair and these allegations, but was planning to not go public and instead save the information for a book.

“I’ve never talked to PS in my life, never had a conversation with him, never had a conversation with Lauren Trager, didn’t provide the tapes to anyone else because I’m greedy. If you want to know the truth, I’m just greedy,” he says.

As he drank from a beer stein on camera for his online audience, Faughn said his book is going to be "outstanding."
