The search continues for a missing ballet dancer living in St. Louis.

23-year-old Raffaella Maria Stroik was last seen Monday morning at the Whole Foods in Town and Country.

Her vehicle was found later that day over 120 miles away at a boat ramp on Mark Twain Lake in rural Monroe County.

A missing person report for Stroik hadn't been filed, yet, but a park ranger at the lake noticed the vehicle still in the parking lot unattended Tuesday morning. A further investigation with Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers and Missouri Department of Natural Resources park rangers began, and they determined Stroik was missing.

Stroik is 5’7” tall, weighs approximately 115 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. She normally wears her hair in a ponytail or a braid. When she was last seen, she was wearing her hair in a ponytail and she was wearing an olive-green jacket, long pink scarf, navy colored pants with white zippers on the sides, and white tennis shoes. She lives in St. Louis, but is originally from South Bend, Indiana.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt. Eric Brown tells KMOX that troopers, park rangers, and friends and family of Stroik will be actively searching for her starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the area around Mark Twain Lake.

Anyone with information on the location of Stroik is asked to call the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 660-385-2132.
