ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -  St. Louis police have issued an endangered Silver Advisory for a man who failed to return home from a run to the grocery store.

Theodore (Jack) Jackson, 86, left his home Sunday to go to a nearby grocery store, but ended up at Petro Mart convenience store on Veterans Memorial Parkway near Interstate 70 in Lake St. Louis.

Jackson reportedly has dementia and does not take any medication for the condition.

He's described as 5'11", weighing 160 lbs., with a bald head and silver hair on the sides, and he has brown eyes. Jackson was wearing an unknown colored cap, a blue shirt and possibly blue jeans.

He was driving a gold 2002 Chevrolet Impala bearing license plates WF9VOD.

Police say Jackson's wife received a call from a stranger advising her that her husband was at the Petro Mart, and that he was confused and tired. Jackson was last seen driving away from the Petro Mart.

Anyone with information is asked to immediately call 911, their nearest law enforcement agency, or the St. Louis City Police Department at (314) 444-5338.
