St. Louis Airport Ready to Handle Private Jets From PGA Pros

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Spirit of St Louis Airport is getting ready for the PGA next week.

The biggest names in Golf, plus sponsors and their guests, will be flying private planes into the airport.

“It’s really hard to anticipate, but we’ve worked with the FA really closely we’re preparing for, their estimating an additional 1,000 flights over the week, but were preparing for everything, everyone’s on standby, Air traffic control’s on standby and all the ground service providers are ready,” says John Bales, Director of Aviation at Spirit.

On a regular day, there about 275 flights a day at that airport.
