ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Charges have been filed in a fatal South County street racing accident.
It happened March 4, when police say four cars were at a stoplight on Reavis Barracks Road. When the light turned green, the two cars in front did burnouts, while the two behind sped off racing.

Police say one of the racing cars - the defendant’s car - hit a curb and then a white Pontiac. The Pontiac then went into oncoming traffic, killing the driver of another vehicle. The two passengers in the white Pontiac were seriously injured.
Adam Michaud, 20, of South County, now faces one count of first-degree involuntary manslaughter, and two counts of second-degree assault. He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
