ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Although the St. Louis Blues open their Stanley Cup Playoffs in Winnipeg Wednesday night, but the crew back at Enterprise Cener is already making plans for the first home game on Sunday.

Of course the playoffs mean an amplified pregame light and video show and this year the team is taking it up a notch. For the first time in St. Louis, fans will be given interactive LED wristbands that sync to the lights and music. So the fans will actually be a part of the show.

PLAYOFF SCHEDULE: Blues and Jets start on Wednesday

The Blues say it will only be happening for Game 1. If you need a refresher, here's what the light and video show looked like the last time the Blues made the playoffs in 2017:

Fans at Sunday's game will also be given a Ryan O'Reilly jersey-shaped rally towel sitting on the back of every seat in the arena. Then on Tuesday's home game against the Jets, there will be Brayden Schenn jersey-shaped rally towels for every fan.

Sunday's game starts at 6:30 p.m., but a pregame party outside Enterprise Center begins at 2:30. There will be live music and family-friendly activities open for all Blues fans, with or without a ticket, before the gates open at 4:30 p.m.

The Blues are also using the playoff tradition of growing a beard to raise money for their Blues for Kids charity. Go to stlouisblues.com/beard to create a Blues Benefit Beards profile and use those postseason whiskers to help a great cause.
