Here's Your Chance to Welcome New Forward Ryan O'Reilly to St. Louis

Those in attendance will have the chance to welcome forward Ryan O’Reilly and goaltender Chad Johnson.

ST. LOUIS (BLUES) – The St. Louis Blues announced today that IceBreaker 2018 will take place on Sunday, Aug. 26, from 5-7 p.m., at Ballpark Village.  Doors to Ballpark Village will open at 5 p.m. and the event is free of charge.  Those in attendance will have the chance to welcome forward Ryan O’Reilly and goaltender Chad Johnson as they are introduced to Blues fans for the first time.  Also making appearances will be Blues Chairman Tom Stillman, defenseman Colton Parayko, Head Coach Mike Yeo and lifelong Blue Bob Plager.  In addition, fans will have a chance to be a part of Blues history as the club unveils its new third jersey for the first time.  Limited quantities of third jerseys will also be available for purchase at Blues retail locations on site.

IceBreaker will start with live music from the Charles Glenn Band on the FOX Sports Midwest Live stage at 5 p.m.  Starting at 6 p.m., Blues broadcasters John Kelly and Chris Kerber will emcee the stage show which will include player, staff and alumni appearances, sneak peaks at the improvements being made at Enterprise Center and allow fans a chance to win great Blues prizes.  Louie and the Blue Crew will also be on site, interacting with fans at some of the great outdoor activities, including the slapshot machine, the inflatable obstacle course and the bungee run.  Fans will also be able to participate in the Blues 360 Virtual Reality Experience presented by St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
