ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KMOX) - Police say a 33-year-old St. Louis man walked into Normandy City Hall on Monday with a gun, asked four clerks to show their hands and ordered them not to move.

A bystander saw what was happening through a window and called 911.

Officers tased Chris Butler, and found a 9mm pistol in his front right pocket.

Butler was charged Tuesday with felony counts of kidnapping and resisting arrest. He is jailed on $75,000 bond.
