St. Louis Pizza Delivery Driver Dies After Shooting

Family and friends have said he was delivering pizza when he was shot in the Tower Grove South neighborhood.

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - (UPDATED 4:24 p.m. Tuesday) The reward for information in the shooting death of a pizza delivery driver in St. Louis is now up to a possible $15,000.

Police are investigating the death of 31-year-old David Matthews, who was delivering pizza for Imo's Pizza on the 4th of July when he was shot twice in the neck.

He died on Sunday.

The Imos Family says it's donating $10,000 to CrimeStoppers to honor Matthews. That increases the reward fund to a possible $15,000, if the tip - called into CrimeStoppers - leads to a felony arrest of the suspect or suspects responsible.

Police have not arrested any suspects in the case, and have not discussed a motive.

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis pizza delivery driver has died from injuries suffered in a Fourth of July shooting. 

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that police say 31-year-old David Matthews died Sunday. Investigators haven't confirmed what the victim was doing when he was shot or where he worked. But family and friends have said he was delivering pizza when he was shot in the Tower Grove South neighborhood. 

Police have no suspects in the attack.
