ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - There's a settlement in a dispute over unsanitary living conditions at the Clinton Peabody Housing Complex south of downtown St. Louis.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt says an agreement's been reached with the St. Louis Housing Authority and McCormick Baron.

Schmitt says the defendants will continue remediation efforts and become transparent with residents and taxpayers about conditions at Clinton Peabody.

The suit was filed last year, concerning mold, mice and bug infestations there.

The settlement also includes a newly-formed program, funded by McCormick Baron, in collaboration with the Deaconness Foundation, that will help tenants in the future at Clinton Peabody.
