ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Stray Rescue of St. Louis is need of some desperate help from the community. A Facebook post from the shelter says they have run out of room to care for stray animals in the area.

The shelter shared a video Wednesday afternoon, of a stray dog it took in off the street and says they're now at maximum capacity. They're worried about other animals being stuck outside during "deadly temperatures" as many schools in St. Louis' closed due to the cold.

Stray Rescue asks people to contact them via email: or call them at 314-771-6121.
