ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - It was Randy Grim's first day back on the job, Tuesday and it was a busy one for him. The founder of Stray Rescue St. Louis helped get 10 puppies and two adult dogs off the streets in north St. Louis City.

Video was posted to the Stray Rescue Facebook page, Friday afternoon:

Grim posted on the organization's website that up until two weeks ago he had a "PICC line (IV)"  for medication and his doctor just gave him the "all clear" to go back to work, but to take it easy.

On Friday, February 23, Grim suffered an aneurysm and was rushed to the hospital. Grim had a five-hour surgery for a thoracic aortic aneurysm.
