UPDATE: Illinois Man Found Dead in River in Downtown Little Rock

Police say Brennen "Bryn" Willis, 28, disappeared from Little Rock after leaving his hotel to go for a jog Saturday night.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KMOX/AP) - Little Rock police say the body of an Illinois man who had traveled to Arkansas for a wedding has been pulled from the Arkansas River. 

Officers said 28-year-old Brennen Willis of O'Fallon, Illinois, disappeared late Saturday after leaving his hotel for a jog. Police said someone reported seeing a body Monday behind the Old State House Museum. 

Police spokesman Steve Moore said an ID card found on the body matched Willis, and that the body was clad in the same green shorts in which Willis was last seen. 

A cause of death wasn't immediately released.

The Willis family created a Facebook page in an effort to find and bring Bryn home.

Willis was in town for a wedding. He left the Courtyard Hotel downtown to go for a jog about 10:30 p.m. on the 19th, and posted a SnapChat story about 11:30 p.m. from the Robinson Center Auditorium, according to the Facebook page.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

Willis was last seen wearing green athletic shorts, an orange T-shirt, black socks, gray running shoes with orange bottoms. He is about 6' tall, weighing 170 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes.
