Elise Rich

Elise grew up in St. Louis and Jefferson County, graduating from Herculaneum High School in 2007 and growing up with a LARGE family of eight children!

At the age of 18, Elise joined the Air Force as a Weather Forecaster. She had the honor of serving her country in Operation Enduring Freedom, providing weather briefs for Kiowa and Apache helicopter pilots. Her husband Tony is also a Weather Forecaster and, after their active duty service, ended up settling down and opting for service in the Missouri Air National Guard with the 131st Bomb Wing.

In addition to reporting the news here at KMOX, she also serves as the manager of a public affairs shop at Jefferson Barracks. Her responsibilities include everything from command messaging to state emergency duty (floods, civil unrest, tornadoes, etc.).

Elise and Tony have four children: Logan, Debbie, Dorothy and Robert (aka "Rob-Bob" to his brother and sisters!).

Elise is interested in everyone and everything! She considers it a blessing and a curse, but it also serves her well as a journalist!

On top of that, Elise is a lifelong KMOX listener. In fact, she even called into a KMOX show at the age of seven!

"I am extremely honored to be part of KMOX and I will bring a positive and hardworking attitude!" -Elise
