Mike Kelly has broadcast more than 700 Mizzou Football and Basketball games. The Dupo, Illinois started his affiliation with the University of Missouri in 1989, when he was named the host of “Tiger Talk,” which features Mizzou’s football and basketball coaches.

After serving as the color analyst for Mizzou Basketball during the 1990-1991 seasons, Kelly took over the play-by-play duties the next season. In 1994, Kelly was named as “The Voice of the Tigers” taking over the reigns for Mizzou Football.

A 984 graduate of SIU-Carbondale, Kelly has broadcast NFL Football and NCAA basketball for CBS Radio. He has also broadcast games for the St. Louis Cardinals. In addition to broadcasting games, Kelly is employed by The Insurance Group in Columbia, MO.

Kelly is active in many civic and charitable organizations, serving on the Advisory Board for Segs4Vets/DRAFT, The Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Health, Advisory Board-Hawthorn Bank, Organizing Committee Ellis Fischel Cancer Center Gala, and serves of the Board of Mid-Missouri Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Kelly and his wife Laurie celebrated their 21st anniversary in August. They are the parents of 18-year old twin daughters Shannon & Shaun. Their youngest daughter Megan is 14.
