Tom Franklin

Tom Franklin is the News Editor for Total Information A.M., helping the morning crew get you out the door with the news and information you need to start your day. A radio veteran since 2008, Tom split time between South County and Jefferson County growing up. After graduating from Seckman High School and Broadcast Center, Tom embarked on a radio journey that took him to places like Illinois (twice), a real-life boomtown in North Dakota, the Home of the Blues (music, of course) in Memphis, Tennessee, and most recently the city that 2020 Democratic Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg was the Mayor of: South Bend, Indiana. He has won numerous awards in his career, most recently the "Best Newscast" Spectrum Award by the Indiana Broadcasters Association in 2018 prior to joining KMOX.

When he's not focusing on the news, Tom is an avid hockey fan and will debut a new St. Louis Blues-related podcast this fall called "Bluenotes." He also loves the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Billikens, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Liverpool FC, STL FC, All Elite Wrestling, and video games.
