Attracting Younger Listeners with Bobby Bones and Taylor Swift; MetroLink Security; Spiders

Overnight America
Tuesday, September 17th
Host Ryan Wrecker volunteered today at a local Food Bank and was partnered with local women in their late 20’s and early 30’s. To his dismay, none of the fellow volunteers listened to his show. In an effort to attract a younger female audience, Ryan jokingly discusses show topics that aren’t prone to his normal broadcast. Next, our attention shifts to safety, or lack thereof, on St. Louis’ MetroLink public transit rail system. Antoian Johnson, Transit Union Local 788 treasurer, joins reporter Kevin Killeen to discuss why so many Metro drivers leave the organization due to the lack of security. Wrecker and callers discuss more instances of negligence. Last but not least, let’s talk spider-breeding season.
