SLU Care general internist at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital Dr.  Fred Buckhold says we must go slow in order to avoid a big increase in local infections.  He says we need to continue social distancing, wearing a mask, washing hands and avoiding crowds of people.  He also addresses a new Moderna vaccine study that reports initial success on eight patients.  Dr. Buckhold says that sounds great, but he's always cautious - saying there's still a long way to go and many thousands need to be tested first.  And he's not holding out much hope for a vaccine to be on the market by the end of the year.
